Citizens Bank Park opened in 2004 as the new home field of Major League Baseball's Philadelphia Phillies. The ballpark is located in a sports complex in south Philadelphia that has been the site of sports stadiums and arenas since 1926. The semi-industrial nature of the neighborhood doesn't offer too many places for visitors to stay, but Philadelphia International Airport is only a few miles west and downtown Philly is just a short drive north - and both have plenty of hotels.
