Chicago's United Center is the home arena for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL) and the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The United Center opened in 1994 and is located on the west side of town a couple of blocks off the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290). United Center was chosen by the NCAA to be the site of some early round games in the 2011 Men's Division I Basketball Tournament.
