The 2012 US Open Golf tournament is scheduled to be played at the Olympic Club in San Francisco on June 14-17, 2012. The USGA-sponsored national championship will be played on the club's Lake Course, site of four previous US Opens. Olympic Club is located on the southwestern corner of San Francisco, on the border with Daly City. While there are a couple of places to stay within 2 miles of the course, most hotels are located several miles away to the northeast (downtown San Francisco) or southeast (South San Francisco).
