The 2013 US Open Golf Tournament will be held at historic Merion Golf Club near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The USGA-sponsored national men's golf championship will be conducted on the club's East Course, which was designed by Hugh Wilson and opened in 1912. Previous winners of events held at Merion have included Bobby Jones, Ben Hogan and Lee Trevino. The club is located in a densely populated residential area, so the hotels nearest Merion Golf Club are about 5 miles away.
