First Landing State Park (formerly known as Seashore State Park) is located near Cape Henry, to the north of Virginia Beach's resort strip. The park is named in honor of the Cape being the spot where the colonists who would go on to establish Jamestown first made landfall. There are camping sites and cabins available in the park. Fort Story and the old Cape Henry lighthouse can be found next door.
