The Kennedy Center is located on the Potomac River waterfront in Washington, DC. Every year it hosts hundreds of theatrical, music and dance performances and is also the site of the annual ceremonies for the Kennedy Center Honors and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. It's the home of the National Symphony Orchestra, the Washington National Opera and The Suzanne Farrell Ballet company.
