John Paul Jones Arena is the largest of several arenas on the grounds of the University of Virginia. It's primarily used as the site for UVA Cavalier/Wahoo basketball games, as well as for concerts. It's named after the father of Paul Tudor Jones II, who donated $35 million toward the building's construction. When it opened in 2006 it increased the available seating for basketball games to over 14,500 vs the 8,500+ at University Hall across the street. Both "U Hall" and it's predecessor Memorial Gym ("Mem Gym") are still standing and in use.
