Maryland Live! Casino is the largest of the casinos built in Maryland as the result of the 2008 referendum legalizing slot machines. Maryland Live! Casino is located next to the popular Arundel Mills outlet mall. In addition to over 4,000 slot machines, the casino includes a burger restaurant created by celebrity chef Bobby Flay, a Cheesecake Factory, Phillips Seafood, The Prime Rib, a buffet and a 500 seat Rams Head Center Stage entertainment venue. Maryland Live! opened in June 2012. Thanks to a change in the state's casino laws, table games with live dealers were added in 2013.
A big poker room opened in August 2013. It has 52 tables and offers cash games around-the-clock and daily poker tournaments.
It's all located within a few hundred yards of the intersection of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (Route 295) and Route 100. That's less than 15 miles south of downtown Baltimore and under 30 miles north of central Washington, DC.
