Pengrowth Saddledome (formerly Olympic Saddledome and Canadian Airlines Saddledome) is the home arena for the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL). The Saddledome opened in 1983 and was the figure skating venue for the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. That saddle-shaped roof? That would be what we call an inverted hyperbolic paraboloid.
