The AAA Three-Diamond Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is spread out over acres of forestland, but still close to the Walt Disney World Resort?? (with transportation provided). For refreshments, head to the property's two restaurants and one lounge, or buy groceries at the two trading posts and make some home-cooked meals. Guests of the resort can play tennis, rent bikes, play volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard, go horseback riding, fishing, sailing, or explore the grounds on a number of nature trails. The resort is also home to a game room, marina, coin-laundry facility, swimming pool, and campfire program where Disney?? movies are shown every evening.
All cabins have cable TV, safes, radios, and full kitchens. Outside each cabin are private barbecue grills and picnic tables.
Please note that guests arriving after 5/4/05 are eligible for Disneys Magical Express Service ?? buses take the guest from the Orlando International Airport to the Disney Resort hotel, while the bags are transported and taken straight to the guest's room. When the vacation is over, guests and the bags are transported from the Disney Resort hotel back to the airport.
