The hotel is a short 20 minute drive to beautiful Lake Gaston, which is popular for boating, water skiing, and fishing, and only 7 miles to historic Emporia, Va. We are home to the Virginia peanuts festival and a major bicycling event hosted every fall. The rapids of the Nottoway River are Greenville County?s northern border where the land remains natural and picturesque. South Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina are 14 miles from our hotel and are home to the best fishing for rockfish and striped bass in the area.
