Lucas Oil Stadium opened in 2008 as the new home of the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL), replacing the "antiquated" RCA Dome (25 years old). The new stadium has the exterior appearance of a "retro-style fieldhouse" - with an extreme case of gigantism. It has a retractable roof and a window wall at one end that can be opened.
