The San Francisco Marriott Gets Marquis Status

The San Francisco Marriott becomes The San Francisco Marriott Marquis as the result of almost $40 million worth of upgrades to its public spaces.  Located within walking distance of the Moscone Convention Center, the Marriott has now completed a $15 million renovation of the hotel’s lobby and meeting spaces.  At 117,000 square feet, we’re talking serious meeting space.  In addition, this winter they’ll unveil a $22 million makeover of the hotel’s Yerba Buena Ballroom which can seat up to 5,500.

The 39-story, 1,499 room San Francisco Marriott Marquis hotel is located south of Market Street in downtown San Francisco.  The hotel is the home of the Mission Steak restaurant and the Bin 55 Lobby Bar.
