Hotels Near Target Field in Minneapolis

The newest addition to the group of 30 stadiums that are home Major League Baseball games every year is Target Field in Minneapolis.  After 28 years under the Metrodome, the Minnesota Twins will brave the elements starting with the 2010 season.  We’ll be a bit disappointed if we don’t get a couple of “snowed out” games every April!

We’ve added this impressive new stadium to TheRealPlaces.com and made it very easy to find the best deals on hotels near Target Field.  The park is in the Minneapolis “Warehouse District” so there are several nice hotels located just a few blocks southeast of the stadium.  Target Field also has its own stop at the north end of route 55 on the Hiawatha Light Rail system, so it’s an easy trip from any of the 19 stations located between downtown Minneapolis and the Mall of America – coincidentally, the mall was built on the site of the Twins’ original home, Metropolitan Stadium.
