The Curtis Doubletree Hotel Opens in Denver

Doubletree hotels has opened The Curtis in the heart of Denver, Colorado.  It’s the first new Doubletree to open in 2010 and the fifth from the brand in the Denver metropolitan region.  It’s located in downtown Denver, less than two blocks from the Colorado Convention Center

Guests at The Curtis will be staying at a hotel that features a “pop culture” theme, most noticeable in the lobby and adjacent “novelty store”.  Wi-fi internet access is complimentary and guest rooms feature LCD HDTV’s, clock radios with MP3 plug-in capability and Neutrogena bathroom products.

As an addendum to the nearby convention center, there’s over 20,000 square feet of meeting space within the Curtis, with 15 meeting rooms and banquet space for up to 250.  Coffee addicts will probably make a few trips to the on-site Starbucks.  The “Corner Office Restaurant and Martini Bar” is just the place for after-meeting food and fun.  They’re offering everything from “Southern Style Chicken and Waffles” to “Lobster Mac & Cheese”.  Seafood is the obvious emphasis at the other hotel restaurant, “The Oceanaire Seafood Room” (because, after all, when we think of Denver we obviously think of seafood!).
