Hotels Near Pac 10 Football Stadiums

The Pac 10 conference comprises most of the big football universities in the far western portion of the United States.  2010 will be one of the final years for the Pac 10 as they add a couple more schools over the next couple of years and become the Pac 12.   Regardless of the conference’s size, TheRealPlaces will always be the place to find the hotels closest to Pac 10 football stadiums.

The Oregon Ducks currently lead the way in the 2010 Pac 10 standings, with a record of 6-0 overall and 3-0 in conference play.  Three of their remaining games will be played at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon (versus UCLA, Washington and Arizona).  The Ducks’ archrivals, the Oregon State Beavers, are only 3-2 overall but improved to 2-0 in the conference with a win at Arizona last weekend.  The Beavers play at Reser Stadium, with California, Washington State, USC and Oregon still scheduled to come to Corvallis this season.

The Stanford Cardinal are currently 5-1, 2-1 after beating USC at home on 10/9.  Washington State, Arizona and Oregon State will visit Stanford Stadium in October and November.

The Arizona Wildcats, California Golden Bears and Washington Huskies are all 1-1 in the conference.  Three more games are on the 2010 home schedule for Arizona Stadium in Tucson, Cal will finish the season with three straight home games at California Memorial Stadium in Berkeley and Washington still has Pac 10 foes Oregon State, Stanford and UCLA coming to Husky Stadium in Seattle this year.

It’s not the best of years for University of Southern California football fans, as the USC Trojans struggle with the loss of their head coach, top players and NCAA sanctions.  Still, they’re currently 1-2 and 4-2 with home games against California, Oregon, Arizona State and Notre Dame still to come at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum over the next two months.

The Arizona State Sun Devils and UCLA Bruins are also 1-2 in the 2010 conference season.  The Sun Devils play their home games at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe and will host Washington State, Stanford and UCLA in coming weeks.  The world-famous Rose Bowl is the “home” stadium for the Bruins (albeit a home 25 miles off campus).  Arizona, Oregon State and USC are still to come on the 2010 home schedule.

The Washington State Cougars are the lone team without a conference victory, but they hope to change that with home games at Martin Stadium in Pullman still to be played against Arizona, California and Washington (for the “Apple Cup”).

For those planning ahead, the Utah Utes (home: Rice-Eccles Stadium) and Colorado Buffaloes (Folsom Field) are the teams joining the Pac 10 starting with the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
