Four Points Arrives In Memphis

The Four Points by Sheraton chain of hotels recently celebrated the opening of their 150th property – and now they’ve made their first incursion into western Tennesse with the addition of Four Points Memphis East.

The hotel has 124 rooms, each with a 32″ HDTV, the Serta Presidential “double pillow-top” bed and a refrigerator.  Freebies for guests include bottled water (replenished daily) and internet access throughout the property.  Food and drink is available at The Cafe and the River Oaks restaurant.  For meetings and other events, they’ve got five banquet and meeting rooms – including a rather unique 52-seat amphitheater.

As the “Memphis East” implies, this new hotel is located on the eastern edge of Memphis, adjacent to I-240.  That loop road around town will get Four Points guests into downtown Memphis in about 15 minutes, assuming traffic doesn’t get in the way too much.  It’s a very popular area for places to stay, with a dozen other hotels within a mile of Four Points by Sheraton Memphis East.
