Future PGA and USGA Championship Sites

The PGA and the USGA have added a few more locations to their list of future golf championships – and we’ve got guides to nearby hotels for all of them:

2020 PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park – San Francisco:  Another major golf tournament for the neighborhood that also includes The Olympic Club, San Francisco Golf Club and Lake Merced Golf Club.

2020 USGA US Women’s Open Championship at Champions Golf Club – Houston: It’ll be the first time the USGA has held one of their major tournaments at the appropriately-named Champions club since the 1969 US Open.

2021 PGA Championship at Kiawah Island Golf Resort – South Carolina: The PGA really likes the Ocean Course at Kiawah, previous site of the 1991 Ryder Cup and the 2012 PGA Championship.

2021 US Women’s Open Championship at The Olympic Club – San Francisco:  Yep, here we are again, the Lake Course in that golf-rich neighborhood in southwest San Francisco.

2022 PGA Championship at Trump National – Bedminster, New Jersey: For some reason, there are several golf courses with this guy’s name on them.  This one is a little under 40 miles west of Manhattan and will also host the 2017 US Women’s Open.

2023 PGA Championship at Oak Hill – Rochester:  Another one of those places the PGA really likes, Oak Hill was the site of the 2013 PGA Championship and the 1995 Ryder Cup.

More Major League Baseball Stadiums Added

Today we discovered a few major league baseball stadiums weren’t represented in our collection of “landmarks” and quickly rectified that oversight.  Baseball fans can now use the resources of TheRealPlaces.com to find hotels near Busch Stadium in St. Louis (home of the Cardinals), hotels near AT&T Park in San Francisco (the bayside stadium where the Giants play) and hotels near Nationals Park in Washington, DC (where the Nationals currently struggle mightily to gain respectability).
