The National Archives Building is the most famous of the buildings operated by the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration. As an agency, the archives is the official storage place for government records and documents of all kinds. The National Archives Building is the place to see several of the country's most famous documents - the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights. The building also has a theater that shows an introductory movie during the day and special programs at night.
