Formerly known as Loews Minneapolis Hotel, The Lofton is part of the city block-sized building known as Mayo Clinic Square, which also contains shops and medical facilities. Target Center, the home arena of the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves and the WNBA Minnesota Lynx, is across the street from the hotel.
