Cruise Terminals in Seattle

Unlike most cruise departure cities which are served by a single terminal, Seattle, Washington has two cruise ports.  The Pier 91 Cruise Terminal is located in the Smith Cove area, a couple of miles northwest of downtown Seattle.  The Bell Street Cruise Terminal is also northwest of downtown but closer to the heart of the city.

The Pier 91 Cruise terminal is the departure point for cruises leaving Seattle via the Holland America, Princess and Royal Caribbean cruise lines.  The closest hotels near the Pier 91 cruise terminal are located to the southeast, toward downtown Seattle.  Due to the location, it’s also known as the Smith Cove Cruise Terminal.

Norwegian Cruise Line and Celebrity Cruises use the Bell Street Pier Cruise Terminal, also known as Pier 66.  Both Norwegian and Celebrity offer popular summer cruises to Alaska.  If you’re looking for a place to stay in Seattle before or after your cruise, you’ll find a good selection of hotels near the Bell Street Cruise Terminal, including a couple within walking distance.
