Discovery Cove is part of the SeaWorld family of aquatic parks, but offering a highly interactive - and rather expensive - experience. It's a place where you can spend some time swimming with dolphins, snorkel in waters filled with tropical fish and rays, swim in or relax on the beaches of Serenity Bay, and get up close and personal with the colorful birds of the Explorer's Aviary. The "Grand Reef" snorkeling adventure opened in June 2011. One benefit of the relatively high price of admission: Discovery Cove is much less crowded than other Orlando parks.
