Fort Story

Fort Story is part of the U.S. Army Transportation Corps. It's located at Cape Henry, where the Chesapeake Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean. It's the place where the trans-Atlantic expedition led by Captain Christopher Newport first made land in 1607 before going on to start the continent's first permanent English-speaking settlement at Jamestown.
