Viceroy Miami opened as a small-ish (162 guest rooms) boutique hotel in February, 2009. All rooms are fitted with their own "convenience kitchens" and feature the design stylings of Kelly Wearstler. The 50-story building also includes year-round residences and is a central piece of the ICON Brickell complex in downtown Miami. The Viceroy's primary restaurant is located on the 15th floor and overlooks the huge "amenities deck" that connects the building with two adjacent residential towers. Situated high above Biscayne Bay, the deck includes a 300 foot long "water feature", with a wading pool, hot tub with a capacity of 50 people and the longest "infinity edge" pool in Florida.
