Grand Opening of Cambria Suites Traverse City

It took a little while, but the Cambria Suites Traverse City, which actually opened on June 23rd, held their Grand Opening on October 8th.  It was certainly worth the wait for the Grand Traverse chapter of Habitat for Humanity, who received a check for $1,000 during the ceremonies.

The (kinda) new branch of Cambria Suites in northern Michigan boasts 92 suites around an “open, airy two-story lobby” – home of a nice, big 52″ television.  It’s a smoke-free facility and visitors have access to free wired and wireless internet.  Each suite has separate living and working areas, with ergonomic chairs, movable desks, two LCD TV’s and the latest in Cambria bathroom amenities.

On-site eating (breakfast and dinner) is offered at “Reflect”, a “contemporary bistro-style restaurant”.  There’s also a coffee bar, a fitness center, an “open 24 hours” sundry shop and some modest meeting space.
